HEAD COACH - CHAD WHITLOW

Coach Whitlow was born and raised in Forsyth County, GA where he was a three-sport varsity athlete in lacrosse, football, and wrestling at South Forsyth High School. He was a four-year starter for the lacrosse team. Coach Whitlow followed his passion for the game by continuing to play collegiate lacrosse at the University of North Georgia.

Coach Whitlow returned to his hometown in 2018 and served as the Head Coach of the boy’s lacrosse team at Pinecrest Academy, where he led the team to the most wins as a Head Coach in the program’s history, a record that he still maintains.

Coach Whitlow is entering his third year as the Head Varsity Men’s Lacrosse Coach at North Forsyth High School. In his first year, he led the team to their first ever playoff berth and received the Head Coach of the Year award out of twenty-six competitive athletic programs at the school. In 2024, his coaching helped deliver the program’s first ever playoff win, Sweet Sixteen win, and an Elite 8 appearance. To date, his leadership and performance at NFHS has resulted in four student athletes awarded the honor as Georgia All State men’s lacrosse players. In addition, he has mentored six NFHS men to continue playing collegiate lacrosse at NCAA D1, D2, and D3 schools. His record at NFHS is 30-7.

Coach Whitlow is excited for every opportunity to mentor and develop men of high ethics and character.
